Senate Nominating Committee

Brief Description: 

The Senate Nominating Committee nominates individuals to various Senate and University Committees upon request by the Senate President.

5.3 Senate Nominating Committee. The Senate Nominating Committee nominates individuals to various Senate and University Committees upon request by the Senate President. The Committees which are under the jurisdiction of the Senate Nominating Committee are internal Senate Committees, University Standing Committees, Senate members of Administrative Advisory Groups, Inter-institutional Faculty Senate, Senate ad hoc committees and other committees as requested by the Senate President or the President of the University. The Senate Nominating Committee shall also nominate candidates for President-Elect and Vice-President of the Senate.

5.3 The Senate Nominating Committee shall consist of three (3) current Senators appointed by the
incoming Senate President. The term of office is one year commencing when the Senate President
assumes office.
